What is So Special about the Autobahn?

The German Autobahn, with a total of 13,000 kilometers, is included in the list of the world’s longest and dense road systems. Most divisions of the autobahn comprise two, three, or even four lanes in each direction, with an emergency lane going along all the way.

The Sky is NOT the Limit

You read it right! The general assumption that there is no speed limit on the autobahn is true to a certain limit. Except for 60% of the road, the rest has a speed limit of 60 to 75 mph. However, the government and highway authorities suggest drivers drive at a consistent limit of up to 80 mph.

No Overtaking on the Right:

While you are on the acclaimed fastest autobahn, you are supposed to stay on the left-hand side for a fast driving experience. Overtaking on the right-hand side is strictly prohibited unless there is some traffic block or something.

Check Out Wheels Before Whirling

Considered as the best road for every car since the emergence of the autobahn, it is always recommended to check your car’s wheels before landing on the mysterious road.

With this being said, it is always a lifetime experience to hire a car and drift on the smooth roads of the German Autobahn, especially for car enthusiasts.
